Handmade- One of a Kind Ceramic's by Ashly Ann Bartholomew
Ashly Ann Bartholomew has always had art in her heart. She brings her experiences in the healing arts into her work as a mixed media artist.
This adventure of fiber art is surrounding all that I create. The fiber is the center of my mixed media. I bring pottery into the fiber arts, enhancing it in many unique ways: Jewelry, buttons, and elegant fiber tools. Ashly has her working studio in Milford, CT where she and her husband Rick enjoy their creative spirits together. |
Patterns by Samantha Guerin
Samantha is a knitwear designer and work-at-home mama of two. She finds time for design work in every nook and cranny of the day, and most nights. Her designs always start with inspiration from a particular yarn. Unique hand dyed yarn from indie entrepreneurs, earthy woolen-spun yarn and everything in between is what her dreams are made of. She’s passionate about supporting small businesses like indie dyers, shepherds, farmers and small batch mills. She hopes you’ll join in supporting these people who keep the fiber community alive and vibrant.
Samantha believes that inclusive design must be the standard for hand knitting patterns. All of her garments are designed with this principle in mind. This applies (but is not limited) to size, race, national origin, age, ability, gender identity or expression and sexual orientation. Representation in knitwear photography matters to her and she hopes you will find this reflected in many of her pattern photos. Every body is worthy of thoughtful design. Samantha’s patterns are test knit and tech edited. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with feedback or questions. She would love to hear from you! |
